The theme is 1920s Safari. Decor and art (à la safari) will coordinate to this theme and we hope you all will dress accordingly to really melt into the experience that we are curating for you. Neutral colors, shackets, cottons, khakis, jumpsuits, wide brim hats, scarves, animal prints, vintage Abercrombie & Fitch, you have so many options. We have provided some ideas below to help get those creative juices flowing.

Dog Friendly, but you know your pet(s) best. Please do not bring any aggressive animals. It will be generally dark out with curious desert animals in the periphery. Please use your discretion. However, major bonus points if you dress them up in a safari animal costume to go in line with the theme.

It's not really fun driving alone. So, don't be discouraged if you don't know anyone or have anyone to join you for this, we are always happy to sort out some rad convoys and pair you with someone awesome so you will already have one friend made before you arrive. Please reach out if you would like us to help out facilitating friendships.

This location is remote. That means there are no porta-potties. We understand if that changes your initial "hell yes." We will have other events in the future that are fully equipped. That being said, this is a pack-in, pack-out space. You are fully responsible for taking out everything you bring to the camping trip, including your trash & waste. Plan for that with several extra large trash bags and additional space in your vehicles. There is a dumpster in town before you get back on the highway. Let's make sure we leave our beautiful California desert better than when we came.

Explicit driving details, location coordinates, and a planning guide will be going out to attendees leading up to the event. Again, always helpful to have a navigator roadie with you so you don't miss any of the turns.

Finally, and probably most importantly, this is being planned as a fun way we can all make new friends. This isn't a party for a party's sake. This is a experience, a core memory, and maybe the start to the rest of your life.
